Pretty sure that ship has sailed. Trump permanently turned off a number of voters with his antics. You can't expect people to unsee him throwing everyone under the bus, and his narcissistic personality.
Everyone knows what will happen if he's elected. He'll try to go scorched earth and not a damn thing will get accomplished in 4 years. And he won't succeed in doing much other than fricking up probably the few pieces of government that do actually work by installing some idiot yes men into positions based not on their b experience, but loyalty to Trump.
Some people on here like that, most responsible adults do not like the folks in positions of power to act like 12 year old girls with a grudge firing everyone they can so they can put their cronies in power.

I’m not sure making fun of McCain for being captured and tortured by the Vietnamese is the example I would point to as the best example of his humor, but he’s still plenty funny. He just riffs at his rallies. I think the big difference is that it’s pretty clear after he left Twitter that he’s been having subordinates write his truth social posts and the few tweets he has made since his return. He used to be swinging constantly and landing more than he missed and now it’s much more like a standard politicians’ media account

Generally you can tell if it's Trump. All capital letters, typos, randomly posting at 2am. That's all Trump.

Did you watch the Tucker interview? Trump had some spot on moments where he was hilarious. One example:
Tucker: What do you think of Kamala?
DJT: She's not the brightest bulb and speaks in rhyme.
Tucker: What do you mean by that, speaks in rhyme.
DJT: The bus goes here, the bus goes there, cuz that's what the little yellow buses do

I was just laughing my arse off at his speech talking about the indictments. That shite was funny. You must be retarded. Probably so.

He hasnt had to run against any primary opposition - just a bunch, a FUN bunch, of impotent losers.
That will all change when he faces a communist next year
Why waste the funny on the impotent?
Hope he starts some material on how the communists are hiding who or whatever they hide from view
It is time for the communists to start being open
the few onionheads who actually voted for the cheating communists need open truth - they quite obviously have none

Why is Trump not funny anymore?
He doesn’t have any good material to work with at the moment. Hillary and the cast of 2016 primary candidates were funny to mock. And Donald had his way with it.
Biden and DeSantis don’t provide the same chances that Hillary and Jeb/Cruz etc did.
Plus Trump is the favorite, not the upstart. So he’s not punching up anymore.
It would also be silly to ignore the fact that he’s older and has lost a couple MPH’s off the fastball. Most of his lines and speeches these days are the exact same ones he’s been throwing since 2020.

You’ll never get this crew to see that. They don’t understand that the same traits which made Trump hilarious to many here, myself included, was an absolute turnoff to many others.

Why is Trump not funny anymore?
Is he taking himself too seriously now?
Don't ya think?

The person or the concept of Trump?
The concept isn't funny because you have (at least biologically) grown people treating the POTUS election as though it is a professional wrestling event and insisting on nominating a guy who can't win, so we're all going to be subject to another term from a guy who wears diapers and doesn't know where he is most of the time.
If you mean the person I would guess he wasn't all that funny to begin with. More of a novelty act. Kind of like Sam Kennison. Seems interesting the first time you see it, but by the time you've seen it 5-6 times it's just mildly annoying and completely predictable.

Maybe because anything he says will be labeled by MSM as "Election Interference".

Same thing that happened to comedy in 2016- he's just bitter now.
