Due to the novelty and lack of information on the disease, tv news hype machine, and extreme medical bureaucracy, Covid was the perfect foil to take down the presidency of a Washington outsider.

Trump certainly didn’t handle it perfectly, but no one else would have either.

COVID was very new back then - and the default position is to trust those people. He had to. That’s why they are there.

But he started pushing back on their policies as their lockdown measures become more extreme and more data became available - as he should have.

I don’t have a problem with it.

The Constitution is really short. I'm sure you could get through it if you really wanted to. They even have some picture books about it if it helps.

Another mistake was pushing the jabs and boosters on everyone.

It was the Biden administration that tried to mandate the vax that a few months earlier they said that they would never consider taking. Boosters weren't even an idea when Biden was sworn in. Based on original projections, I wouldn't have been eligible to get the vax until June, almost 5 months after Trump left office.

If I recall Trump went along with the two weeks to flatten the curve and then turned it over to the states…..sounds reasonable.

We were also in an era of progressively more deadly mutations. Lots of unknowns. But it’s safe to say, had he known of Fauci’s deceptions, COI’s, and funding of GOF in China as we do now, he’d have marginalized him at the least.

JfC:

shame on your tomfoolery.

no day passes without this topic.

1. he does not get a pass from anyone on covid.
he lied from day1.
he was (correctly it turns out) worried how the stock market would do. the market was a bright spot. and he performed a miracle of Korea. he was set.
and then a plague fell upon the land and pharaoh lied to us. we learned from Washington post that he knew it was horrific but I don't want a panic.
the rest, including b.s. about masks is on him. fauci too. its his Katrina.
he lost.

2. and if we are considering trump as possible next president put it into your algorithms that faced with a plague variant that had just overwhelmed Italy trump chose his political future (stock market) over the health and safety of the entire nation.
the tortured mixed messages between trump wh and actual medical people is exhibit B. the Washington post interview says trump is the worst possible person to have in crisis. he's not capable of operating on behalf of others.

He continued to f*ck our country and f*ck our rights and used Trump's Operation Warp Speed as a tool to do so.

When Fauchi first came on the scene, people didn’t know he was the rotten SOB he turned out to be.

He didn’t know any more than any other world leader. He did try to maintain calm as there were runs on food, paper, and critical PPE. Fauci admitted to doing the exact same thing, yet no condemnation for him nor dems who were urging people to roll around in Chinatown gangbangs on prime time TV. Odd.

I invite you and your blanket statement to rummage through my post history and see where you are absolutely delusional if you believe this.

He absolutely made mistakes. Everyone did. And now we know he was being actively deceived by Birx and the Gremlin.

There’s a shite ton of DeSantians who like to forget Trump’s sensible handling of Covid-19 and claim Trump was the initiator of the lockdowns. Trump did the two week to flatten the curve and then turned it over to the states to handle their own Covid-19 policies.
