Every few years a Dem in Congress proposes that we allow prisoners to vote while serving their sentence. The GOP always blocks the move. Maybe if we allowed them to vote in prison the Dems wouldn't be so interested in releasing them. Prisoners are easily a 90% Dem vote. But if they're out of prison they are too busy committing crime to take time to show up for a vote.

1. Because they belive most crime is the result of situations, injustice, etc. And not the fault of the person
