The USA is closer to energy independence under Biden than at any time under Trump. The cheap oil the USA enjoyed all those years came from SA and it bankrupted almost 1k USA companies in the process.
The crap people claim Trump did isn’t close to a reality. A bunch of suckers just bought whatever the man said.

Thst said, why are Trump supporters so scared of Desantis if Trump is so great? I don’t get it.

I'm not scared of DeSantis. I love DeSantis and want him to be president. But he's facing an extremely uphill battle in a Republican race against Trump, and to me it simply doesn't make sense to enter a campaign where you're highly likely to lose vs waiting for a campaign where you'd be the clear favorite.

The reason this doesn't make sense is you're relying on a fantasy future to compare to the reality of the present.

Because a hell of a lot can happen in 4 years. Both personal and professional. Both good and bad.

He could get sick. Wife get sick. A child falls ill. He has a grandchild. He has Florida in a good spot right now. No guarantee that it stays that way.

President has to be the shittiest job to “apply” for. The country climbs up your arse and your whole families arse. You have to prepare them for that. And when you have them ready, you run for President.

Also no guarantee that the Dems don’t get their shite together after Biden. Win or lose they may actually find a moderate charismatic candidate who isn’t elderly. That would be 4 years of the Trump v. Biden winner. Then 8 years of a Clinton or Obama like electable candidate. That is 12 years of waiting. What did a dozen years do for Hillary? It did many things. Not the least of which was voters growing fatigued with her and just her name.

2024 or bust for RDS.

You cant be taken seriously

Reagan 8 years, Bush 1 then elected
Clinton 8 years, Gore came within a hair of being elected
W 8 years, Cheney stepped away
Obama 8 years, Biden elected now
Trump 8 non-consecutive years?? RDS has a better shot than Biden coming back, and Biden has already won

Ron is going down in flames, and will never be backed by MAGA now. Which only makes you right about the '24 bust part

There are very few scenarios where RDS would be the favorite to win in 2028 and the best case would probably be via Civil War and the death of tens of millions more Democrats in that war.

When your "argument" relies on this:

waiting for a campaign where you'd be the clear favorite.

It's pure fantasy and removed from reality.

He was never getting the white trash vote.

If Trump loses in 2024, either he runs again in 2028 or one of his MAGA-types gets their support (as I posted previously, likely Lake). Then RDS is in a similar position as today, but without the name.

If Trump wins in 2028, no Republican has a shot. MAGA or not.

Cultists never liked him and were never going to vote for him, yourself included. Even if he had waited until 2028, you never would've voted for him. You'd still be saying it's Trump's turn if he ran once again after losing to Biden for a 2nd straight time.

i think he was admitting ron wont even win his own state

the thing the ronbot cultists cant explain, is how trump will win by getting independents and even democrats to vote for him. yet none of those will ever vote for ron, yet somehow they still think he has a better chance to win than trump does.

Not sure what you're referencing. By every metric no matter how notable the economy was at an all time high under Donald Trump these are facts. Incumbents with good economies never lose. Well not normally.

The better question might be why the only Trumpers and Trump himself fear him so much if he can't make a run at it. It's very early and Trump and the cultists are worried that he can close the gap with more exposure.

At the time of the election donald trump was fighting for the senate to hand out checks because the government was advising businesses to stay closed or at low capacity.

This was after a summer where the major cities in the US had businesses burned down because of riots.

Y’all want to forget about 2020 but it happened and happened with Trump as president

James Comey calls Ron DeSantis's threat to pardon J6ers an "attack on the rule of law"

Note: Trump could have pardoned these people and got cucked.
