Social distancing is going to become the new normal. People have to accept that as fact.
ETA: Due to the shite ton of DV I will explain. I'm not talking about to the extreme we are seeing now. What I mean is in every day life, we all will have to be more aware of when we can give space to give that space. I am not in favor at all of continuing this lockdown any more than is necessary, but to say that after this is over, and I'm in the grocery store, I will go back to completely unaware and brushing against people in a crowded aisle.

How? Serious question. Explain how any level of social distancing over a period of time of your choosing up until a vaccine is developed, produced and distributed will get us to "no new cases, no deaths" - in a country of 330,000,000 people broken up into however many regions/areas you want to tackle.

None of that is realistic
At some point there will have to be a somewhat return to normalcy. People have to be able to work and live. If we are going to hope for no death or no new cases for everything we might as well stay in the house the rest of our lives.

If it were up to doctors to run this country there wouldn't be a single food we would be allowed to eat since they would find a problem with any food.
