They want to live their lives without consequences for their actions. Their "moral code" is that of Crowley: "do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law".
For them, killing a baby means they can have sex with whoever, whenever, and not have to deal with the long-term effects of raising a child.
That's why they're also trying to get the "marriage equality" bill passed. And now based on a NY judge's decision, polygamy (which is actually the generic term for marriage involving more than two people; polyandry is the specific term for one man with multiple wives) would have to be "protected" as well.
Not to mention their fight to have drag queens and sex education to elementary school children.

this is a woman's social power, the power to decide which men procreate and which men don't. Women resented having to marry and reproduce with men they considered unattractive just because they had resources.

It's about the right of choice. the right to choose to have the baby or not. you don't see men suing women to stop them from aborting a baby. Alot of people in this country care more about an unborn child then they do the woman carring that child.

Well, there is a spiritual component to it in my opinion but...
Some women have it in their mind that having children kills their career advancement. That's simply not true.
All parents will tell you life with children and balancing career is a tough job. Even in a two parent household.
People who consider abortion are mostly not married, promiscuous and lower economic status.
In other words, being a parent is tough work. They want to engage in sexual promiscuity without having to be bothered with the effects of their decisions.
Personal responsibility and sacrifice are important parts of being "good parents". Every parent sacrifices things for their children, good ones the most.
People who support abortion in theory and practice know the above. Nobody wants to have the sobering conversation though because "it's attacking women".
It's not though. The fathers are equally culpable. This is the problem with modern society and the social family structure.
Nobody wants to take responsibility. Nobody wants to sacrifice anything for anyone beyond their choosing.

75% of abortions are performed on women under 2X the poverty level. 50% are performed on women under the poverty line.

I remember when I first learned that the “save the whales” “save the trees” people were the opposite when it came to save the babies. They were fine with killing human babies, just not animals.

I think I finally understand you. All political differences are at essence religious.
When you go against natural law, that which America was founded upon, you go against god whether you believe in god or not.
There is but one way, any others are in opposition. If you displace gods way, then your way is the only thing left. You don’t have the capacity to understand the implications of your actions down the line. That would require foresight, which no human possesses.
