Americans always fall for this. The ones with enough means or perseverance to get to the United States, are generally the cream of the crop,

We see this with Indians. Their country is a 3rd world shithole, but the ones who come here are almost all smart and hard working.

But much of Haiti's problems have to do with the nature of the slave rebellion that led to the modern day formation.

No, I cant agree. Every africanized city in the world is dying by every metric, GDP, infant mortality, life expectancy, literacy, crime, etc. This is true for Port au Prince as it is true for Detroit or Baltimore. Same for Durban and Johannesburg. Same for Harare or any formerly modern city founded and built by non-africans including modern and state of the art laws, economy, and technology. There is a single glaring common denominator between all of these failed cities or states. It has nothing to do with what occurred 200 years ago.

They LITERALLY eat dirt

Haitian mud cookies

quote:

A mud cookie, or bonbon tè in Haitian Creole, is a food that is eaten in Haiti, particularly during pregnancy. They can be found in slums like Cité Soleil. Dirt is collected from the nation's central plateau, near the town of Hinche, and trucked over to the market (e.g. La Saline market) where women purchase it.[1][2][3] It is processed into cookies in shanty towns such as Fort Dimanche.[3] First, the dirt is strained to remove rocks and clumps.[3] The dirt is mixed with salt and vegetable shortening or fat.[1][4] It is formed into flat discs.[1] Then, it is dried in the sun.[4] The finished product is transported in buckets and is sold in the market or on the streets.[2]

IQ distribution in a population falls along a bell curve. The average in Haiti may be 67 but there will be some Haitians with much higher IQ. But these exceptional people will not plentiful enough be able to make a country like Haiti function. A modern country requires self-government. It requires the average person to not litter, or to be a good neighbor, or to not steal. It requires the average person to contribute more than they take from society. A group with average IQ of 67 is proving to not be capable of self government. That is why Haiti (and every africanized country or city) cannot function in a self-governing way, in a nutshell.

Anthony Bourdain did a documentary series that explored history, food, and culture in several places around the world. The countries he went to which had European rule, but is now run by the left behind slaves are all shitholes. I remember he did a show from the Republic of Congo (under French rule until 1960). In less than 60 years architecture, technology, and industry has not grown at all and become dilapidated. Despite mineral wealth and a good climate for agriculture, their "economy is a mixture of village agriculture and handicrafts" (Wiki).

If only Haiti had been ruled by Haitians since 1804 and not their colonial masters who held them down! Oh wait….

This is true, and truth is good.

There are people who will call you evil for pointing it out.

What actually is evil, is blaming other innocent people for the shortcomings of people they have nothing to do with. That's pure evil, and that's the Left.

3. Massive incentives for immigration. Give foreign business people major incentives to move there and open businesses. Not only will this increase jobs, but it would likely import foreigners who may potentially stay, have children, etc., and increase the genetic diversity.
That's fantasyland right there.

It also helps when you can buy a convenience store or roadside motel with a government loan at favorable interest rates and be exempt from paying federal income or corporate taxes too. Pretty sweet deal right there.

IQ below 70 is developmentally disabled. Haiti is sitting at a 67. You can’t have a functioning society like that.

In that case, you shouldn't oppose immigration.

Same answer for basically all third world nations. *Blank* is poor because *Blankians* are in it.

It's a difficult concept for the egalitarian folks on the left. It's as if they believe in these magical geographic forces that doom these countries. Just move the Blankians to the US and they will thrive!

It's the same issue I have with the north and south BR arguments from the Gravy types. North BR is shite because of it's residents and not because of some imaginary line. If the populations switched sides of town, within a decade we would be right back to where we started.

Same with the schools argument. If you took the teachers at Catholic High and sent them to the worst school in Baton Rouge, and then sent those teachers to Catholic High. Very little would change.

The schools are shitty because they are filled with shitty students.
