Sounds like you’re making excuses for a population that is supposedly superior to ours.

Again, why is India not more of a tech power?

Just to settle this, India hasn't developed economically to be able to do this, yet. In time, I'm sure they will (as they're doing a great job coming out of the dark ages).

Taiwan is always the go-to example for doing this economic progression correctly.

Now, that doesn't mean Indian is likely to ever have a PCGDP on par with Western countries, as they still have too large of an underclass population and a culture that sort of requires it to exist perpetually. That doesn't mean other sectors of their population can't develop economically like they have shown the capability to do so.

I don't know if people know this, but India even has a competing program for the Chinese "Belt and Road" Initiative that has much better long-term prospects for the country in terms of international prestige/trade. India is also our most natural ally in that region, counter to both Pakistan and China (2 countries we obviously have some friction with quite often).

Shitting on India is just not a smart long-term plan.

Yeah. Racism is that value.

The Han and Japanese people are 2 of the most racist on planet Earth.

They're not only bringing in coders. Someone posted H1B requests for several finance firms and they were looking for HR people under the program. Tell me we have a shortage of people qualified for a HR position.

They do this in a lot of industry.

Say you own a bunch of subways. Bring all your cousins from India to run them.

Much smarter than having Londyn and Jamarius trying to unionize your subway workforce.

You own a few convenience stores around Nola or any city? Yeah your nephews are running them for you.

Not really. As I said last night, this “issue” is low on the platform for me. But I do think it’s a joke for Vivek to cite platitudes about the state of young people when he is just looking for cheap labor. He doesn’t give a shite about Indian worker “culture”.

Bahaha this is how I know you've never been to India. It's an anomaly in that they can have so little regard for hygiene or cleanliness & still have positive birth rates. No doubt, anytime now they will be the smartest, safest, cleanest, friendliest place on earth.

How many people does it take to support a tech power? Elon famously noted that twitter only needed a fraction of their pre sale workforce.

It would benefit you to watch the Eric Schmidt talk at Stanford.

Y'all are beginning to sound like socialists.

Socialists how? What is conservative about importing labor when there isn’t a need for it? (Other than wanting it cheaper)

You failed to address my point about India other than making excuses (ironic given your position here)

You people have accepted the leftist ideal that hiring outside the border is exploitation.

Precisely socialist thinking.

Right here.

Classic leftist class warfare statement.

He’s lashing out

This plays right into his retarded position that america is an inferior country with inferior talent and culture.

Roger isn’t shy about shitting all over America and americans any chances he gets. You can boil 80% of his posts down to “America sucks”

If theyre skilled and/or intelligent, yes.

We need to be collecting talent and letting the ne'er do wells fall away.
