Trump knows that if He picks someone who is easily swayed or manipulated by the Deep State...then he is essentially guaranteeing an early exit from this life. They'll 'JFK' him in a NY second and blame it on some easily villainized fanatic that miraculously got through the security cracks. Think Oswald.

We are no longer playing by the old rules of mutual political respect. It's a blood sport now and will be so for the duration. Though the Deep State prefers the bloodless route of 'Cancel' or 'legal' persecution and jail, if possible.

Burgum would be a very good pick. A serious man who can seriously address issue. As such, he will not be liked by MAGA nation.

Some picks I would love to see:

Tim Scott
Doug Burgum
Kim Reynolds
Brian Kemp
Glenn Youngkin
Chip Roy
Marco Rubio
Dan Crenshaw
Tom Cotton
Susan Collins

The only one on your list even worth considering is Chip Roy. The rest of them are complete garbage. Dan Crenshaw? Susan Collins? What are you even thinking??

Honestly not a bad idea. Normal guy, popular Governor. You cannot serve multiple terms as Governor in Virginia, so he would basically be a "lame duck" his last year (Governor election is in Nov 2025). It won't win Trump Virginia, but Youngkin would look like Albert F'ing Einstein compared to Kamala, and would not hurt Trump's ticket in any way.

I don't know about VP but Ted Dibiase seems the obvious choice for Treasury.

Might as well pick John Cena as VP. We already can’t see him so it’s a perfect role.

At this point some kind of splash is needed to save this low energy campaign. Even his enemies are bored.

Too much attention is being paid to the black vote. Candidates need to be grounded in fundamental biblical ideology … Not Colors.

Think it will still be a DEI pick so probably Tim Scott

John Smoltz, Tom Glavine or even John Rocker, or any Black Georgia ret. athlete that has no baggage would have won that Senate seat in 2022
