Why doesn’t Trump intervene in Haiti?

It’s considered by many to be a borderline failed state, and it’s the poorest country in the western hemisphere. It also hasn’t had an acting president since the assassination of Jovenal Moïse in 2021. Commercial flights from the US into the capital, Port-au-Prince, have also been suspended since 2024 because most of the city is essentially controlled by gangs.
The US has seen an influx of migrants from Haiti since 2020. Why not send troops to Port-au-Prince to clean things up?

Haiti is not threatening to nuke us (Iran), nor does it have a history of killing americans (Cuba).

Arm the migrants and send them back.
They gotta go

because the Clintons fixed that decades ago

Not since January 20, 2025, when we had a new President take the reins.

Is that a serious question? Surely you jest...

Haiti has almost nothing to offer us. Iran and Venezuela have natural resources that we want.

Are we supposed to spend the money to fix every shithole on the planet?
Edit: oh, another shithead

Iran and Venezuela also have histories of not being complete dumpster fires. Haiti has been a complete shithole since the French were overthrown and genocided. Let the DR handle them.

The only thing that could provide relief to Haiti would be parachuting in a million barrels of birth control pills.

Don’t give him any ideas lol.

Toussaint L’Ouverture as cautionary tale?

The Dominican Republic and Haiti share an island. The Dominican Republic is fine and has tourism, etc.
Haiti on the other hand can't seem to get it together at all. No amount of money or intervention can fix that.

Bc Haiti is like North Korea; whoever breaks it, owns it.

Absolutely no need to.
Hillary and the Clinton Foundation fixed their problems years ago.
It is now the Wakanda of the carribean.

Just another example of low IQ population fricking it up and expecting someone else to fix it. We have literal pumped billions of $ into Haiti and it keeps getting worse not better. Not to mention the Clinton's using the aid as personal piggybank. Look at Haiti, Somaila, Yemen, Djibuti, most of Africa, there is a common demoninator. Hmmm ...

It's been that way for over 2 hundred years. The US has taken over at least once and to no avail.
