But, but, but I am an Independent. What does less government have to do with the right to carry or bear arms? If more people carried, more vicious dogs owned by irresponsible owners would cease to breathe.

It’s both the owners and the dog.
It’s called genetics and no matter how much training and exercise the pitbull gets, nothing will stop the trigger in their head when it randomly flips. You can’t train a retriever not to retrieve and you can’t train out hundreds of years of aggression. That’s why most attacks are on their owners in the home that they’ve been with for years. It’s why shelters are packed full of pits, you can never trust a pitbull, not even if you raised them for 8 years like the Bennard family in Tennessee. Those XL Bullies (Pit bulls) ripped their kids in half while sending the mother to the ICU who almost died fighting the dogs to try and save the children. The breed of dogs should be banned for the safety of everyone. There’s hundreds of other breeds to pick from. If we had responsible dog ownership it would be one thing but we don’t. The pitbull is the preferred dog for the homeless. These pits attack and kill pets every single day because the owners don’t care. Not even Caesar Milan could train his pitbull not to kill. It killed multiple dogs at his training facility while also mauling a teen gymnast that ended her career due to the attack. Name another breed of dog that gets loose and comes across a farm with 90 sheep and mauls and kills all 90 sheep for sport in a single night?
