The Democrats are the ones who have been hammering culture war issues the past few election cycles. I think you have it backwards - if voters are thinking about the economy a red wave is likely. Also doesn't change the fact that if you had your way policy wise, I would be bringing home a smaller paycheck, and if it weren't for the Democrats, healthcare would be less of a mess than it is now.

Everyone making less than 157k got a tax cut under Trump. I got a small increase but it's ok if it stimulates the economy.
