Then you're a fricking idiot, basically.
You are essentially arguing that people should not be allowed to hold certain views.

Just because you are not rich does NOT mean you can't out of principle believe that taxes should overall be lower in America.
So you supported Obama over Boehner, right? Obama wanted to cut your taxes. Boehner didn't care about you, only those making considerably more money.

Tax cuts benefit the top earners disproportionately because they pay a massively disproportionate amount of taxes relative to low income earners. There is no way to cut taxes across the board and not disproportionately benefit the top brackets.

Then he’s incapable of reading and digesting actual facts. Either way, waste of my time.

Boehner wanted it all to be preserved. Obama was the only one that wanted to raise taxes on anybody.

Yep, you can't talk to indoctrinated people.

Your entire OP is absurd on face value.
Just because you are not rich does NOT mean you can't out of principle believe that taxes should overall be lower in America.
That is like saying you shouldn't support marijuana legalization if you never actually will consume any.
Or that you shouldn't support civil asset forfeiture reform if you will never be in that position where they will seize your assets.
Thanks for translating because I kept zoning out reading the OP.
Yeah OP is a doofus if he can't grasp this simple concept.

So you supported the man working against your own pocketbook. Got it. That's the entire fricking point of this thread.
But hey, at least you can still tell ole Jim Bob you're a republican...a MAN'S MAN...MAGA bitch!

Voting solely for your financial self-interest, while ignoring everything else, opens the door to all kinds of potential abuses against minority groups, whether ethnic, class-based, etc, in the name of "self interest"
It was in the financial self interest of a southerner to support slavery, it was in the financial self interest of a 1930s german to support the Nazis against wealthy jews.
All kinds of persecution against minority groups by the majority, for financial self-gain, all across the globe have historically taken place, often by the less well off for financial gain.
The Ibos in nigeria
the parsees in India
Armenians in ottoman empire
chinese in malyasia
lebanese in west africa
tamils in sri lanka
all these groups faced violence, persecution, etc, by a majority who solely were thinking of their financial self interest.

Please show me where GOP sponsored and signed legislation has led to a $17,000 tax increase for someone making $125k...

Outside of personal conversations with me, my father does not discuss politics with anyone. He’s put one political sign in their yard in 35+ years and it was for our cousin who was running for city council...as a democrat.
Please. Continue your narrative.

What if I just want to keep my money and you keep your money?
Posted on 11/9/18 at 11:25 pm to Rougarou13
I’m guessing that’s probably racist somehow

I haven't read all the replies, but you do realize that all the traditional left programs require much higher (on the order of 15 - 20%) taxes for the middle and upper-middle classes, right? That's still where the great bulk of income - taxable or not - is in this country. It's what the Scandanavians require.
Oh, we also spend more per capita in education (which is largely through public avenues) and healthcare (about half of which is through public avenues) than anyone else in the world and get about the 25th - 30th best outcomes in both? Clearly, public spending on the marginal dollar doesn't work out that well right now in the U.S.
Maybe these people are a little smarter than you give them credit.

Are you wary of your income to feel it's easier to just say you're Republican than to share your salary?
Why would anyone share their salary that they've worked for?

I’m not sure wtf I just read but I have no idea how you hoodwinked someone into paying you minimum wage let alone the income you just claimed.

Wait, you think democrats support the middle class? Oh, that’s rich.
