Why do I have to care so much about what is going on in the lives of Tucker Carlson or Nick Fuentes or Candace Owens or whoever?
Really even Trump for the matter, but since he is the president, I understand why that mattters a little more

I simply want the border closed, deportations to happen, Christianity and Western civilization to flourish, and for my children to grow up in a better country than I did. If we can obtain that somehow through flawed individuals, let’s do it. It’s better to get the opposite through people who have been made to appear without flaw.

Why do I have to care about what some random podcaster is spazzing about in any given week, and what personal spat they are having with some other podcast bro about, and feel I need to answer to the left or whoever about that persons behavior. My answer is simply “I don’t know, people are weird, they do and say F’ed up stuff”

Great question.

And it's always a good idea to question and criticize leadership.

I prefer to stick to policy politics rather than identity politics. Identity politics for most people eventually turns into a cult of personality.

I make it a point to vote for who I think is the best person for the job.

It's not always Republicans but for some time now, it's getting to be more and more difficult to vote for Democrats (or waste a vote on a third party candidate) if not impossible.

You don't have to, but good luck convincing millions that hang on the word of these grifters. No different than a televangelist. They all want your money and will say or purport anything to get it (clicks). Don't blame them one bit, but the abject stupidity of people that follow these hacks just amazes me. No way these people have real jobs or meaningful lives to sit around all day and listen to this shite.

Because you are populists and populists only have one guiding principle: Us vs Them.

It’s the opposite for many.

We don’t have representation of our beliefs and values nor a voice other than voting (we see where that’s ended up).

When people have a representative with a voice they align. Not the other way around.

When that voice is attacked, people defend the representative because in reality it’s their viewpoint being attacked.

Then the representative is corrupted like everything else in the political arena.

I am an independent thinker. I don't follow many people for them to form an opinion. I know what I believe but am sometimes fooled by what someone says but that's why I get my news here and never (almost) from the television or radio. I couldn't tell you the latest from either of 3 you mentioned with a gun to my head. Like ESPN. Some people watch/listen to the day time hacks every day. I use ESPN for live sports - nothing else. I suppose sometimes they talk sports but they've focused on politics for some reason but all they do is yell.
I prefer to read stuff here and form my own opinion and make fun of the banned SFP. Do we need a "Free SFP campaign"? I kind of miss the little tike.

Would you even know what Tucker was saying but for the most ardent posting about him here? I sure wouldn’t.

Americans want pre-packaged opinions.

Having an individual opinion is like buying an individual stock.

It's simply too much for them. They simply don't have the intellectual capacity for it. So they buy into a mutual fund or latch on to whoever they see on TikTok.

Set it and forget it.

I think this may resolve somewhat on the republican side in the next election. No candidate will be as larger in life than Trump was.

Your opinions are like your feet, pretty sure they stink.
