Simple - they want democrat voters. Necessity is the mother of crime. They've killed off all their future potential voters through abortion, so now they have to import voters.

If they wanted this issue solved, it would be solved. Simply exerting economic or even military pressure on Mexico would fix it overnight.

I think it’s to avoid the population collapse other first-world countries are experiencing.
I don’t deny the demographic and voter benefits to the democrats, but this has also happened under Republican rule. There’s more to it.
I think it’s pure population support and work-force rejuvenation.
The republicans pretend to be against it, but don’t do anything to stop it.
I completely disagree with this, btw.

I do have my doubts that everyone coming here will be a Democrat.
The initial rush might be all in on the Democrats, but the first or second generation that are able to break free from poverty and go to college or trade school to start a business or make over 100k a year quickly learn that the Democrat party is not for them after they get stuck paying taxes.

I see this as the larger global desire of anti Western policies. Obama made it clear in his first campaign and inauguration speech, that he wanted to fundamentally change the United States. He also said essentially that western countries were abusive to the mid east because western countries are spoiled and do not live the same daily fear of mid easterners.
So the answer to the question is that they want western societies to have the same society problems as non western countries. They believe this is the only way to stop western countries from attacking non western countries politically and military.
This is why they initiated the migrant problems in Europe during Obama years. It's why the Obama Clinton state department created crisis in the Arab spring and then Northern Africa. It was to drive those citizens into Europe.
The US was the next target after the plan succeeded in Europe.

Why Democrats want open borders is an easy question. Democrats want more non-white voters because white voters don’t like them.

Why would anyone be in favor of absorbing people you cannot afford, spend money you don’t have to rack up debt that you cannot afford, which in turn inflates prices and devalues the currency, and then allow crime to go rampant, allow drugs to flood over your borders to pollute your citizens with, and do nothing as you watch your city infrastructures crumble, and taken over by tent cities of homeless people strung out on drugs, much of which comes over your border you refuse to control?

Plenty of republicans want open borders as well. Look at all the illegal immigration we had under Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, and Trump. The idea that illegal immigration has only happened under Joe Biden is laughable. Reagan gave almost 3 million of them amnesty. That dumb move actually encouraged more illegal immigration. No president administration has stopped or even tried to stop illegal immigration. Their billionaire donors won’t go for that. Only the American people can stop illegal immigration the government isn’t going to do it.

It’s actually not the question but for sake of discussion, there is an element on the Republican side that wants illegal immigration to keep labor costs down. Large agriculture has always wanted cheaper labor than required legally.
The way to fix that is through the work visa program which is rigged poorly to discourage utilizing the system.
