Obama simply had the rules changed so that anyone turned away even before entering the country, were counted as deported! Presto, great numbers without doing one g-damned thing. Propaganda at its finest.

Tom Homan has worked with Obama and Trump. Obama admin stayed quiet and tried to keep everything out of the news. Trump is loud and likes to talk about how great ICE is doing.

Early in Obama’s 2nd term Homan started separating kids from parents as a deterrent. Obama gave Homan the Presidential Rank Award for his work with ICE.

Trump is loud and likes to talk about how good he is doing and that’s a big difference

Obama benefited from having a horrible economy especially housing from 2009 to 2011. During that time many Central American Illegal Immigrants were actually self deporting back home because there was no work. Of course, when housing market started to turn around again around 2014 they all just came back. Lot of smoke and mirrors with Obama and actual deportations.

Cities refusing to cooperate in ways they did with Obama sure did push the agents into doing more visible field work instead of quietly picking folks up at local jails, courthouses etc…

People attacking agents sure did make them cautious about being doxxed

Yeah because liberals weren't on the streets protesting, harassing, and constantly interfering with ICE raids. On top of the top liberals also weren't doxing ICE agents either during Obama's admin. It's also ironic how Liberals couldn't care less when Obama was separating minors from their families, separating them in cages and you heard very few liberals were even the slightest bit upset, yet they lost their minds over "alligator alley."

Trump intentionally provoked the street confrontation by sending masked gangs of thugs into “liberal cities.” It was cheered on this Board. Trump was going after the liberals. Trump sent the mobs into Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis and DC, putting untrained thugs with heavy weapons on the street.

And you think that Obama did that too? When? Where?

This is what Trump wants. He doesn’t want to competently carry out the law. He wants chaos, and for the most part, he gets what he wants.
