You derive benefit from LaQuesha fulfilling your Burger King order because she’s at work instead of babysitting Tyrone.

You also benefit from an educated citizenry.
Even the father of neoliberalism and privatisation, Milton Friedman, understood the benefits of public education.

Laquesha is a product of public education though

Whether or not the education is effective is a different discussion.
The OP wants kids at home doing remote learning. That’s a non-starter.

I derive benefit from those services. Not so much from children who are born to parents who can’t afford them.
Those parents can afford them because you pay for their food stamps

Not what I contemplated. Distributed, small pods participating in remote learning.

It’s a core part of this debate. Can we not acknowledge it’s not 100% to where it should be and remedial while also acknowledging its basic daycare?

Liberals solution to crime is always for law abiding citizens to surrender their freedom.
Should we also stop congregating at restaurants and sporting events?
So your solution to shootings is for us to never leave our homes?

I mean, that’s just public education with more steps?
So you want smaller class sizes delivered remotely, but still not at home?

Is privatized or public education better? This should answer the question.

These concepts were conceived in an era when the problematic segment of society were the Scots Irish

It’s really not. Public education, as a rule, sucks arse. That’s why parents with money send their kids to private school. There isn’t even a debate there.
Interestingly, Florida spent more $$$ on school vouchers than they did public schooling last year in Miami-dade. I’m not how that’s possible, but apparently it is.

I guess you aren't aware of the learning tosses that happened when schools went virtual because of covid.
have you tried to sit a 5 year old in front a computer to learn how to read?
Wait, you didn't teach your own child to read? You waited for big gov to do it?
Then everything went virtual, you were still all in and couldn't find another way to teach your child to read except through their Chromebook?
This is so disingenuous You were not pushing to get those precious churen back to in-school instruction when it was so dangerous. Your argument back then was, "Of course we want them in school, but not until it's safe!"
It was never going to be safe to you people. The bluer the city/state, the longer the shut down. Why?

Got to have a place to give free breakfast and lunch all year long.

You’re very close to an epiphany, but you have no idea that you are.

So any civilization is basically a socialist government, is that how you’re gonna play this?

My kids read above grade-level now.
