Many conservatives want to be out of power so they can bitch about the liberals and draw attention to themselves. In the conservative media, it helps ratings and if you are a conservative politician, it helps fund raising.

IMO Donald Trump is seen more as a pure Nationalist as in "America First" Nationalist. While a significant number of the Republicans view themselves as UniParty Globalist. For example: they oppose President Trump's effort to deport Illegal Aliens? Why? Because they worship at the Altar of United States Chamber of Commerce. And it's no secret the USCC represents the interest of corporations doing business in America........including multi-national corporations. And those multi-national corporations want cheap mexican labor (aka illegal alien).
At the top of the list of those UniParty Globalist? Those Republicans who oppose the SAVE America Act. You know, and they know, who they are?
These people have been actively involved in blunting President Trump's Agenda. You know it.......I know it.........and they know it.
So the answer to solving this impasse is to vote these people out of office and replace them with "America First" Trumpsters.
There I said it.
