So if I live in fear every day it changes what? As I see it, all it changes is whatever life I have left for the worse. If nuclear war happens it won't hurt for long. Worry does NOTHING.

I think escalating the war is dumb. But I can see why many regular Americans aren't afraid of the bomb. If you live in major city there's a 99% chance you'll instantly be vaporized, which isn't an awful way to go.
The rich ones have bunkers but it still doesn't make sense for them to want a nuclear war because they have all the pleasures of the world at their fingertips. Going to live in your bunker isn't exactly enjoyable.

But constructive anger against politicians on both sides of the aisle cynically pushing a proxy war for profits is SOMETHING. The consensus of the neocons, and those the MSM is misleading and lying to, is that Russia is a two bit nation too dumb to keep up the maintain on their nuclear arsenal. They believe Russia doesn't have 90% of the number of warheads they claim to have and that those they have have been neglected.

Crimea was worth the risk for them because that's their only warm water port. The rest of Ukraine would have been fine had we not pulled a color revolution on them in 2014 and started installing CIA puppets and pushing NATO closer to them.
We instigated this. Putin didn't have to take the bait but then we elected a completely compromised geriatric criminal as President and suddenly, it's worth the risk again.
