If you know (a) why Israel is 20% Arab/Muslim AND (b) how the Gazans became refugees, then you'll understand which side screwed up (continuously) and only has themselves to blame.

Separate issue. It’s been confirmed Israel thought it was an enemy ship. Why would they attack their greatest ally

This isn't incorrect this is a baldfaced lie and you know it. The intercepted radio transmissions proved beyond any question that they knew it was an American ship.

The Palestinians put HAMAS in charge of their country 15+ years ago. Before that, it was Arafat and the PLO. That 40 years of aggressive giving no chance for peace in the region. I don't know whether the Palestinians deserve anything near what they want but decades of hostility is not a way to come to a peaceful solution. An entire generation grew up knowing nothing other than hate anyone that opposes a peaceful solution - if there is one.

The “Palestinians “ don’t want their own state. They want the world. Once you realize this, you will truly start to understand the demonic foundation of Islam.

Who is Right in the Palestinian/Israeli Struggle?

Israel.

Its the same tale as is the US

The Palestinians NEVER had a centralized govt. They were just families that bonded together and nomadically roamed the area. Warring with one another along the way. Along comes one of their cousins, and claims an area to reside in, forms a govt and even establishes a monarchy. A monarchy that is recognized by every overseeing govt that rises and falls in that area for generations

Same thing happened in the US. A group of nomadic Indians never established an area of collective governance until the French, British, and Spaniards came along and did it instead. Is there a known centralized Indian govt that we could return the US to? Or just a mass of disorganized tribal allegiances with no recognized governance by succeeding conquerors?

The Palestinians want the world to do for them something that they never bothered to do on their own. Until 1948. When the world yet again recognized the people of Israel needed a place to go to, and out of harms way from future Hitlers

The Palestinians have always had homelands; Saudi, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, etc

the conflict can be solved if both sides wanted it. nobody is willing to compromise which is the main problem now.

its an easy fix:

on the palestine side:

1) hamas agrees to lay down weapons

2) hamas officially recognizes israel and agrees to sign a permanent peace treaty with israel

In return, Israel:

1) ends their blockade and siege of gaza

2) end their occupation of the west bank/east jerusalem by pulling out the idf and handing over full control to the palestinians

Palestinians in the west bank/east jerusalem must then immediately hold elections and whoever wins signs a permanent peace pact with israel and allows access and protection to holy sites for israelis

settlers in the west bank are given the option to migrate to israel or stay and apply for palestinian citizenship.

problem solved

It’s not actually a religion of peace.

This claim is pure taqiyya BS.

“Taqiyya allows Muslims to hide their faith or outwardly conform to non-Islamic practices (e.g., denying belief verbally) if doing so prevents severe persecution, such as death, torture, or destruction of one’s community. It prioritizes self-preservation and the continuity of faith over open declaration in dire circumstances. This is not equivalent to general lying, which Islam prohibits except in narrow exceptions like taqiyya, reconciling disputes, or wartime strategy. The underlying principle is mercy: God does not burden beyond capacity (Qur’an 2:286)”

And more specifically:
“Fight those… who do not believe… until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.” 9:29

That’s direct from the Koran. Fight non believers until they submit. Black and white, clear as day.

With a reformation they could focus on other elements like “You will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, ‘We are Christians.” But Islam hates the other sects almost as much as they hate the west so I don’t know if that’s realistically possible.

Below is a poem by Mahmoud Darwish, a Palestinian poet.

He also wrote the “Palestinian Declaration of Independence” in the late 80’s.

The poem is written below…
I wonder whom he is referring to?

“The time has come for you to go

Live where you like, but not among us…

Get out of our soul, our sea, our wheat, our salt, our wounds.

[Get] out of the memory of our memories

A ship was attacked during a war. This type of stuff happens. It was mistaken for an Egyptian vessel.

Both the US and Israel said it was an accident and Israel apologized and paid the settlements to the wounded and dead.

quote:

Despite McGonagle's order to cease fire at machine gun 51, he later testified that another gunner at machine gun 53 did return fire on the approaching torpedo boats. In his testimony, McGonagle stated, "As far as the torpedo boats are concerned, I am sure they felt that they were under fire from the USS Liberty".

A day before this the Israelis shot one of their own down. They were literally in a war either multiple Arab nations and friendly fire happens in all wars.
