Well, yeah. They're being coached, by Democrat leaders and the media.

Two IRL observations:

1. During school de-seg (forced busing) which was in the South late 60s and North early 70s the biggest protests from white people were in Boston.

2. I've known a lot of Asians who were young single adults. They all said parents were 'OK with dating a white, but prefer you marry Asian' HOWEVER 'No dating blacks at all.'

White liberals in Portland, OR are pretty up there. They don't have to worry about section 8. When I moved there from Florida, they would ask me questions about racism in the south. Mainly, they were looking for confirmation that the south was a really racist place to live. I told them the most systemic racism that I had ever seen was on the Indian reservations in their own backyard, and that they should focus on cleaning that up. That absolutely blows their mind because they don't even think about that.

I had a neighbor in Beaverton who was a black dude from Kennesaw, GA, who also, coincidentally worked for Nike at the same time I did. He was actually a Cuban immigrant who moved to Atlanta when he was an infant and played baseball at Kennesaw State. We were both college baseball fans and had a connection over that. He wished he had gotten a chance to play at Alex Box during the early 2000's when he played.

I digress. We were talking about Portland, and he said that he often felt like a fish in a bowl. He was the only black in our neighborhood (even his wife was white) and everyone wanted him to be their friend. Their black friend. Having black friends in Portland is big time street cred for a lot of these folks. He was very popular and got invited to a lot of parties, events, etc, in the area. He knew the score. Everyone wanted him to be at their party/event, because he was black. He said it was flattering, but kind of embarrassing, especially when he got all of the attention and his wife got none (she was very hot, BTW). He even said that he had no doubt that he could have had sex with some of the MILFs in our neighborhood, as they sent all he signals to him.
I guess the only thing better than having a black friend is having sex with your black friend. I have no doubt he was right about that, given the way I saw them fawn over him.

Ramone was a great dude, regardless of his race, but he ended up moving back to Atlanta because that's where he and his wife were from. I think they just didn't feel very comfortable in Portland.
