I'll go first.

I hate masks because I think they are stupid. I do not think this virus is deadly or dangerous enough to warrant this kind of reaction and mandatory masking. You don't force healthy/low risk people to mask up to protect unhealthy/at risk people. You tell the unhealthy/at risk people to protect themselves and let everyone else live their lives

I hate masks because I believe its a mind control device, a symbol to make sure we continue to remain 100% afraid and aware of the economic destruction caused by this virus, with hopes that we funnel that awareness and anger toward the man in the White House

I also hate masks because they have become a virtue signalling device of sorts. You can be 100% assured anyone wearing a mask outside, or while exercising, or while driving alone in their car is a Biden voter. My favorite are the idiots who change their social media profile pictures to a selfie of them wearing a mask. Only Biden voters would do that

Lastly I hate masks because they are uncomfortable and I don't like breathing in my own CO2.

With a passion. Glasses fog up, and I hate hot breath on my face when it's 95 outside.

No need for mail in voting without the fear. It’s all props for a play.

I hate them because they dehumanize people. I also don't want to wear one because they are uncomfortable and I've accepted the risk. I don't care if others want to wear them but I don't think I should be forced to wear something for my own good when I don't care, nor should I be forced to wear one for the good of others since I have no obligation to keep others from getting sick so long as I'm not actively trying to get them sick. Let them take whatever risks they want to take, same as me.

I have only 1 upvote to give but there are 3 more people standing in front of me that agree.

I didn't wear one all day today, and went into about 6 places that "required" them. If someone gave me static, I was prepared to tell them I was protesting peacefully, since that has been established as a patriotic virtue in 2020.

Friend,

I hate masks, but I also recognize that there is significant data that shows that proper use of one prevents the spread of respiratory illnesses. In a time of pandemic, with a virus as stealthy and deadly as Covid-19, wearing masks has saved tens of thousands of lives. Not to wear a mask will likely cause the American death toll from Covid-19 to climb to 600,000 by the start of the new year.

I believe it was Donald Trump who said a few weeks ago that it is, "Patriotic to wear a face mask." I agree 100%. The best way to save American lives and protect our economy and way of life going forward is to make a sacrifice of your precious freedom to expose your face, and instead, to wear a mask.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

They cause wearers to breath in toxic air but nobody cares.

They don’t bother me at all.

I don’t think they do much to prevent spread.

If it makes others feel better I’ll put one on.

Might as well ask, “Who here hates being under total government control?”

I don’t care for them.
But I don’t want to pay a mandatory fine of several hundred $ either.
So I grit my teeth and mask up.

Friend,

I am undecided at this time, and will wait until the last moment, perhaps even while in line, to decide. I will gather all the information I can to be informed. I will try to set aside emotion as much as possible. And then I will pray earnestly.

The world could use less people.

A culling of the herd is necessary from time to time for the well being of the herd. The sick and old die, the strong and fit survive. It’s the way of the world.

The funny thing I have found is I don’t cough until I wear a mask. I think breathing in the hot humid moisture aggravates my exercises induced asthma or something. So, my question to the Maskateers is, “ Would you rather be around me coughing with a mask on, or not coughing with a mask off?”

They don't bother me much besides the virtual signaling and panic provoking. Facebook photos are definitely progressives. I don't think they do too much but even if they just help a little...I will pitch in to get this over faster. Not convinced that we are taking the correct strategy though overall.

Not much different than no shoes, no shirt, no service to me at indoor places.

Outdoors is a different situation. Should not be required.
