The CRA says nothing about skin color. It speaks to “race.”

So it’s self-loathing to want equal protection under the law?

You are right. I should have re-read the statute before commenting. Ten House Points for Revelator. Entree of crow for Hank.

The wording is explicitly plain. No person shall be discriminated on the bases of skin color

Be realistic. The moment a white person used the civil rights act to their advantage to sue the govt and win, you’d have dem politicians and black pastors and their congregations in the streets leading the charge to do away with it on account of its racist and it was written by racists to keep racists in power.

Cases addressing "reverse discrimination" have been tried in the Supreme Court dating back to 1978 with Univ. of California vs Allan Bakke

The Civil Rights Act will never be applied in defense of Whites. Ever.

It’s happened multiple times already. I know for a fact that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act covering discrimination in employment has been successfully used by white plaintiffs to prove so called “reverse discrimination.” It’s obviously way more commonly used to go after alleged discrimination against “minorities” but it has been applied to protect white people from discrimination as well.

This is the deal though, it doesn't protect Whites systematically. Whether or not individuals have successfully used it in their own cases. If there were any kind of enforceable precedent to protect us on a systemic level, then virtually every major corporate policy would be obliterated.

There have already been “reverse” discrimination cases (under the civil right act). Guess the outcomes...
