Imagine the political hay that will be made at her dying. Granted, she's accomplished a lot, so honors are appropriate. I know the honors will be used to slam Trump and conservatism in general.

I hate that funerals have become a political tool. One's dying should be about the person, not the party. Wonder if there will be riots at her passing.

Looking down the road, assuming Trump wins and gets to replace her on the court - the next confirmation hearing will probably put Kavanaugh to shame. I really don't know how honest people on the left can support destroying a person - not because they are bad, but because they are conservative.

They will storm the Senate and try to stop any confirmation hearings. It will be VERY bad.

All Hell is going to break loose.

Covid-19 and George Floyd will look like an episode of Sesame Street, by comparison.

The reason we must hold on to the Senate at all costs and put in Senators who have balls to fight the fight because it is going to be a battle.

I hope Amy is up to it...

My guess is that RBG probably would not be pleased with a lot of the fanfare that will accompany her passing.

Lawyers and judges and law clerks who actually knew her and had relationships with her - including those who disagree with her - will be overshadowed by activist pundits and leftist talking heads telling everyone else what her life meant and what her deaths portends

Think the death of JFK.
She’s the left’s Mother Teresa.

One of my “progressive” (understatement) colleagues has an original acrylic of this painting, hanging in his office.
He purchased it in NOLA ... it wasn’t cheap.

Why would you think that?

I've seen nothing about her that would cause one to give her the benefit of the doubt.

She's as bad as they come.

If your colleague is a male and has THAT hanging in his office, then I'll bet he's in the $3 dollar bill gang.

He's a male.
Use your imagination.
You'll be spot on.
His coffee cup says,"NOTORIOUS RBG."

Impossible to separate the two, when the person has been one of the main faces of the party for literally their entire life.

RBG will be announced as dead in October, and the left will use her as a rallying cry to turn out their base.

RBG will probably live another 20 years and will refuse to step down. She’ll be writing decisions looking like this.

Congrats on the murder of millions of children... many of them from the black communities.

Unlike a lot of her supporters, she maintains long term, healthy friendships with people who she disagrees with. The most well-publicized example being her decades-long friendship with Scalia.

Kagan and Ginsburg get more adoration from the modern left, but the justice that better matches the hateful, illiberal trend on the left is Sotomayor.
