Did he say it was a tax break or a check from Treasury?

Don’t know. Probably because there are a few “republicans” that are actually liberals.

I was speaking to the question about legality.

Guess you will have to wait to see what the bill says. A tax credit (not a refundable tax credit) would be my preference.

Because they have no intention to ever pay this money, just another bait and switch.

I'm amazed when Trump supporters keep echoing Trump's "can't let them have nuclear weapon" silliness. If he really believed that he wouldn't have walked away from Obama's agreement with Iran that let in international nuclear inspectors. Then, when he said "we obliterated" their nuclear capability, seems that also wasn't true. At some point, even his so called base has to come to grips with reality. This is Trump's problem and his alone, despite his "lie, deny, deflect" nonsense.

how would you feel if Iran issued a threat to nuke NYC DC right now??

I’d laugh considering how empty of a threat it was.

It’s genuinely amazing seeing the same people in proclaiming Trump to be the “peace president” in 2024 running around espousing 2003 era Bush nonsense about Iran.

And why do I want leftists getting more free handouts?

I suppose if Congress allocates the money the legality issue will be taken care of.

I think the left will sue based on bribery for votes or something like that. They will sue no matter what though.

A conservative balking at citizens keeping money and in favor of government keeping it is astonishing to me.

How about ending this war in Iran and getting prices down to save us money rather than trying to buy votes

By hijacking the party, moving it to the left, and embracing RINO's who have been life-long Democrats that support socialist nonsense.

If November is a disaster, all the MAGA RINO's in Congress need to be primaried. And if 2028 looks bleak, RINO Vance needs to be the nominee so he can go down with the MAGA RINO ship

You mean embracing Vance, Tulsi, RFK Jr, and Fetterman (amongst others) into the GOP simply because they said nice things to Trump after their whole careers being Democrats was shortsighted and foolish?! Who would have guessed.

ETA: Even more funny when you consider Trump was a Democrat for as long (longer?) than he has been a Republican.
