Jesus Christ on a pogo stick. I don’t wanna live, scratch that, be awake on this planet anymore. For about 8 or 9 hours at least. At which point it will dawn on me that this was all just a dream, scratch that again, a night terror with Fredrick “Freddy” Krueger in the role of the ignorant.

Whats embarrassing is that you believe that, even though it was exposed as a lie. Rubio explained clearly it was fake.
You moron

Nothing HAD to be done when the Dems were in power. In fact, the rallying cry was no new wars.
Trump constantly said that the Dems would get us into to a war in the ME.
Nobody said something HAD to be done back then.
Saying it now is just following along and having no backbone, only because the Trump admin pulled a 180 and did what they were supposedly against. .

Congress would have to authorize war with Iran.

Pakistan has nukes. Pakistan, an Islamic state. There was no need to intervene.

ow can we spend so much on safeguarding our nation against these people yet didn’t know the actual range of their missiles? That’s crazy to me.
Describe your formula for this. How do you connect that kind of knowledge to a way that we would know it. Not some esoteric bullshite. Really, how would you imagine this working?

Show me the evidence. And define what victory is.
Neither have been done, yet our tax money is getting used AGAIN to kill and go further into debt. Spare me your propaganda bullshite.

I agree with you that if Iran gets a nuke they will use it. They are already firing at ships in international waters now. They don’t believe in any rules. What I disagree with is the current incrementalism of doing some strikes, stopping, and hoping they are reasonable people who will do what we want. They are jihadists. Drop small tactical nukes or MOABs on their military and nuclear sites and turn Tehran into a parking lot.

Yea just like Iraq had weapons of mass destruction we never found and we needed to invade Afghanistan just to fight there for 10 years only to leave and not gaining a single thing except good Americans dying for no reason.
Why is not England or any other country helping America if they were in such grave danger of nuclear attack from Iran? Seems like they would be the first countries ready to go to war for a cause.
I’m as conservative as they come and a Trump supporter but I am done with “wars” like this. I supported Trump because of 2 reasons mainly: 1. No wars like this and 2. Because he wasn’t a life long politician.
If you need to go to war with a country make it be important enough to Americas security that you are willing to have our solders die for something. I’m talking a war you go to win not this bullshite where we are going to just pick and choose targets over time depending on negotiations.
This war with Iran in particular all Americans should be asking themselves: Why didn’t we first control the Strait of Hormuz. That is the only thing Iran had that could hurt everyone and yet they still haven’t cleared it. Makes me pause and wonder why and who is making money off this.
I don’t believe what our government tells us is true about why we need these kinds of wars. Neither should you without solid proof which we don’t get. We know what they want us to know and probably most of that is made it.
Trump needs to end this war and quickly.

They have been firing at ships because we immediately undercut the MOU by trying to open another corridor. I have seen this point made by Joe Kent, John Mearsheimer, and former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, among others.

this war is about regime change. it always has been. that's why trump told the iranian people before the war started that help was on the way. in fact, the usa has been about regime change in iran since the 50's. and the reason we have been doing it is because of oil. nothing has changed. israel told trump that they knew where the leaders would be and it would be an easy kill. they killed them but the regime didn't fall. now dumba$$ trump is stuck. venezuela was so easy but this one will bring down the world economy.

They’ve been saying Iran was close to a bomb for YEARS. Think about that.
This argument is too often accepted as evidence that there was not going to be a nuclear armed terrorist state.
Yes, Iran has gotten close to building nukes before. And each time they were stopped with military force. (And one major cyberattack)
They aren’t as retarded as they look. They have been digging deeper and deeper into their granite mountains to better protect their weapons programs.
After Epic Hammer, they told US negotiators they would not give up diplomatically what could not be taken militarily. They boasted about having enough material for 11 nukes.
This leaves us with two options. Handle the problem now, or wait while the problem gets worse. I guess we could have given them another hard slap but that’s the same as kicking the can down the road.
For decades Washington has decided to kick the can down the road.
People always point out turning points in history. How about waking up to news that Israel was incinerated and Iran will 100% gatekeep the Persian gulf. No US or US friendly ships can do business in the Middle East. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

If that were to happen and Iran would launch nuclear weapons towards Israel then both countries would be annihilated as Israel and the USA would counterstrike Iran. It’s a moot point.
Also, then it would worth USA war with which ever country left decided to block American ships from the gulf.

I don't think most rational people have a problem with it but the way it's being conducted is, as usual for Orangey, frankly embarrassing.
Could at least be handled differently on the public side.
I believe if Rubio or even JDV were President, this would be handled much better.

... We can keep letting Iran kill a few here and there and let the numbers pile up or we can just go do this and get it over with. It sucks and I hate it but you can’t talk to these people any more than you could talk to Tojo or Hitler.
Iran = Hitler.
Right.
So we invade and wipe them out and do the job properly and at the proper time (NOW), yes? Because if history has taught us anything, it's that tossing missiles around in limited strikes on isolated strategic targets isn't going to do anything. Even mass bombings of high-population areas probably isn't going to be effective. The only way to ensure the Hitler/Tojo/Iran threat is neutralized once and for all times, is invasion and occupation. We already know this from our own experiences, and we know how to do it.

Ok, then why the frick were you ok with giving them all that money?
