I'd tell her it's morally wrong, but that I wouldn't punish her if she did abort.

Doesn't matter, she should be stoned to death for adultery

That God has brought something good out of a horrible situation.

Even fundamentalist Christians hold exceptions for rape don't they? That said, regardless of her choice, a faithful Yazidi wouldn't give a flip about my opinion, so I'd simply say I'm sorry for her, and wish her good luck.

I would tell her that while I'm morally opposed to abortion, I would not judge her or think any less of her should she choose to abort as its her body and it was conceived through a horrific act against her consent. It's her decision entirely.

And then I would pray to god to give her strength and guidance.

I guess we should legalize murder, since everyone who isn't murdered dies of something else. Same logic.

I'd advise her to carry the baby to term.

Of course, if she asks me, she knows me well enough to know that's going to be my answer, and she's most likely already come to the same conclusion. She just wants to hear someone tell her she's doing the right thing.

It seems like there are more atheists who are angry with God rather than don't believe entirely.

Don't be a douche.

I'd say I have no idea what the right choice is for her and I'm not going to spend much time trying to second-guess her decision.

And its not morally wrong to force someone to carry to term a pregnancy caused by something as horrific as rape? That doesn't bother you at all?

Who is forcing her? Her pregnancy is the natural state of things. Abortion is the abnormality.

I probably wouldn't make any argument about her ending a pregnancy, but the absence of abortion is not "forcing" anyone to do anything.

Tf? Rap is a gruesome, unnatural act. Anything resulting from that is not a "natural" state imo.

Someone gets shot, and they start hemorrhaging I guess that is the "natural state" of things. I still say its not too late to do something about it.

Lets not play this semantics game. If you believe no one should be allowed an abortion, including rape victims, you are essentially forcing them to carry that pregnancy to term. Its not that complicated.

Give her the option of having the abortion or beheading the dick that raped her

Where did I say 'force'?

I think it is clear that my position is to let her conscience be her guide.

Depends on the scenario, and it exceeds mere semantics.

I don't take a position regarding rape and abortion, but in this scenario there is no indication that abortion would be available absent restrictions against it. The idea that folks who are pro-life are somehow forcing this woman to carry a child to term is a reach and intended to inflame.

If only we had some kind of system to allow soon to be mothers to give up their unwanted baby to someone that wanted the baby.

Someone should invent that.

Please go do some research on the Yazidis and their religion.
