What would you say to a Yazidi woman raped by ISIS who wanted an abortion?

You were a victim of a despicable act of crime that grossly violated your right to life and liberty, but my belief that life begins at conception forces me to view any action against the innocent life inside of you as unjust punishment on a third party.

I'd argue you, your God and your religious beliefs are forcing

But that's just me

I'd let her have one but she should know Allah will be pissed off.

No woman should be forced to give birth if she doesn't want a kid.

Does this apply to any time in her pregnancy?

Yazidis aren't Muslim.

Yes. Why wouldn't it?

If a woman has already been raped and lost control of her body and will once, then why should there be laws that force her to breed if she doesn't want to?

It's her decision.

As a man I will never know what it's like but as a dad I know pregnancy ain't a walk in the park and I wouldn't want to force a woman into risking her health (mental and physical). Different rape survivors react differently. Some might want to keep the baby and others don't. It's their options

There's not point arguing with you.

Saying you cannot kill a baby isn't forcing someone to breed. Technically the "breeding" was already done.

This debate will never be universally agreed upon. I feel raping someone is pretty much one of the most cowardly things you can do. However I view abortion as evil and I don't think a response to evil should be more evil. That being said some people don't believe it's evil. Therefore there will always be a divide.

I don't understand why people find this so hard to grasp. I wonder how these people would react if they walked into a bar and saw a woman 7-8 months pregnant throwing back one beer after another. If the baby isn't a baby it shouldn't matter right? I'd argue it does.

I'm sure there'd be a language barrier, so there's not much I could say.

If abortion is so evil, why are there untold numbers of spontaneous abortions that happen everyday? If god hated abortion that wouldn't be happening.

This entire post is basically a form of the "why does god let bad things happen?" argument.
