If they stay home then they will get what they deserve, it’s pretty simple. You vote against Talerico and everything that comes with him or you stay home and he becomes your senator for the next 6 years. If you stay home and he wins, then you have no one to blame but yourself. Regardless of Paxton’s flaws, he isn’t a fake preacher masquerading as a moderate. Bold strategy, let’s see how it works out 6 years from now. You are going to regret what comes with his election just as Georgia Republicans do. Everyone claimed the elections of Ossoff and Warnock were a one off anomaly and Georgia is a “conservative” state that would correct itself in the next election cycle. They were wrong and Ossoff is fixing to be reelected.

I live in a small town with lots of retirees from Austin, Dallas, Houston and elsewhere that bring their liberal bullshite with them. During the two Beto campaigns, I saw quite a few of his signs in yards. I’ve seen just one Talarico sign in the entire town. I realize the urban areas decide the elections here but I haven't seen any real excitement for the guy. I’m seeing Paxton signs in some yards of folks that have never been openly political before this point.

That they need to get out and vote... and commies have just taken over the formerly most conservative state in the country. Then I'll sit back and wait for any Dems wins completely backfiring on the people who "just couldn't bring themselves to vote for Paxton," via results of terrible commie policy, and then Democrats getting trounced in 2028 when people realize a little bit higher gas prices should have been the least of their concerns given all that is at stake.

Exactly what I'm seeing...and the few Talafreako signs are on the retirees' multimillion dollar ranches with road/highway frontage. But the usual liberals that had Beto signs everywhere...nada.
