I guess history would suggest that, in spite of everything, the Republican will win in Texas, but these aren’t ordinary times, so anything is possible.

That Texas is gone in another election cycle but it was worth it because Paxton is unlikeable and Talerico is folksy. Texas Republicans are about to learn a lesson they may not get to correct for a long time. If Democrats pass some sort of amnesty bill after Trump leaves, Texas may be gone forever. I think a lot of Republicans in Texas forgot they are a border state and protecting the border is a federal issue so even with a Republican governor little will be done to save Texas from being overrun

It will tell them that if they impeach someone, they better have the goods. The republican party in texas is full of democrats who run as republicans to get elected. Maybe if you blow up the party you can run off all the fake ones. The iran war hasn't helped the republicans either.

If he doesn’t get on stage with Talarico and losses he has no one to blame but himself.
A debate in 2024 won the election for Trump. Get on stage. Don’t look like a puasy while doing it or come across as overly rehearsed.
