It tells us that only the candidates that play ball with the Establishment Uniparty make it to the final ticket. That's the two-party system for you. Those who know the game and play it, ascend to the highest levels. Those who do not, remain on the outside looking in.

In Oklahoma, arguably the reddest State in the Union, our "Republican" Governor candidate is Mike Mazzie and he's total dogshit. But he plays ball, so he's our next governor. Better than the DSA-loving water hag that's on the Democrat side of the ballot, but still a swamp tool.

No matter who wins and where, the only real thing that changes is the speed in which we travel off the cliff. Yes, I'm voting for Mazzie but I do it begrudgingly and primarily because he's by far the lesser of evils. His primary opponent Gentner Drummond was/is a complete swamp creature. His DSA opponent in the General is a bleeder pinko.

What it should tell Republicans is not every voter is passionate about political ideology.

There is a segment of very passive swing voters who just vote based on likability that they see in ads.

A candidate like Talarico wins their vote.
