Because I believe cops can frick up and should be held accountable?

Being anti-bad cops isnt the same as being anti-cops.

Salamoni's shoot of Alton Sterling was a textbook good shoot.

How's he doing?

The man ODed. If there’s a chance you’ll throw me in the clink for years for apprehending a person as he’s ODing, again my answer is “good luck with handling that on your own”

Yep, he ODd. Don’t give anyone the chance to jail you because he’s ODing. Let him do himself in. If Chauvin had, he’d be heading to the bar today.

Give them your phone number so you can show them the correct procedure the next time there is a 911 call.

If you go to work tonight, tomorrow, or the next day as a police officer in Minneapolis you deserve everything that is coming. You have been neutered. There are too many “outs” for criminals.

Because the majority of our problems aren't bad cops. It's bad citizens of this country.

And I believe GF would have died regardless. And also believe he should have still been in jail for his previous crimes.

Exactly my point. On a call like this, the answer is “best wishes” and taillights. Better fired than jailed.

Then you'd be charged with murder for ignoring the situation. Even if you try to help and accidentally hurt them you'll be charged.

There's no way to win. Just quit and find a new profession.

Maybe it's both and doesn't have to be one or the other.

Because he said Chauvin shouldn't have kneeled on his neck which caused his death, factually speaking? You sound totally rational right now

Serious question here.

Let's set aside where Chauvin's knee may have been, whether Floyd had consumed a lethal quantity of a controlled substance, his oxygen levels and three hundred other matters irrelevant to the following:

Once Floyd was cuffed, why did Chauvin continue to kneel on him in any way whatsoever, rather than just sitting Floyd on the pavement with his hands cuffed behind him and his back to the vehicle?

I am sure this has been addressed at some point, but I've just not seen it.

This is known as The Ferguson Effect. More people are murdered in a city in the following year where an incident of police brutality goes viral than were killed the year before. And the difference is significant.

Yep, exactly, and not just in Minneapolis. Whenever a black person calls the police, the dispatch should just tell them to go frick themselves.
