It was stupid to make it even a minor issue. The Alabama Court that ruled on it should have found a way to punt on this issue

It’s called trying to win unlike most national Republican candidates who openly try to lose for some strange reason. You righteous pearl clutchers are the reason we continue to lose like the pro lifers who feign outrage at Trump only to see more radical politicians take his place.

I don't mind this. If my insurance goes up because a fricking fatass can't take care of themselves, why shouldn't it go up for someone wanting to responsibly raise a child? At least balance the scales.

The one area we have common ground on is understanding the political damage social conservatism has to the anti-left movement in the US today.
I've always supported him calling out "conservatives" because that word doesn't apply to Trump/MAGA and he understands that. You don't see him pulling the "small government conservative" label bullshite you see often on here with Trump/MAGA people.
You find this much more with the posters not from the South, because they see the hardcore social conservatives for what they are. They're not primed to see it as normal.

So instead of the gov (taxpayers) paying for directly, it will be mandated for insurance companies to pay for it… now let’s take a look at the breakdown of insurance, private insurance (taxpayers comprise this group) and gov insurance (taxpayers and non taxpayers comprise this group, but funded solely by taxpayers)
So you’re right, instead of the government paying for it, the government will pay for it!
