A lot of right leaning people have left colorado in last 5-10 years
Plus all the leftist transplants coming in
You are left with a solid blue state not much different than CA, OR and WA

A bill banning all semi auto guns that use detachable magazines has now passed their house and senate
Sounds like someone thinks it says "shall be infringed upon"... I wonder how long it takes to get struck down.

The liberals in Denver might literally be the most radical (and dangerous) in the entire country.

Yeah a little harder to get through the day when the wind is blowing 50 mph and it’s -20.

Most of the liberals in Denver and Boulder have lived in privileged bubbles and have no idea what real crime or violence looks like because they’ve never experienced it.

Doesn’t happen.
But the wind and winter limit the commies. It’s tough there in the winter. Hurricane force winds in that temp is a bitch.

Thankfully it will be found unconstitutional and ultimately won't become law.

Californians came pouring in and absolutely gutted the political landscape of Colorado. Another beautiful state ruined by bad policy and politics.
It’s early days starting to happen to Utah, too.

Blame the Libertarians, they sit back and allow Democrats to win elections just to thumb their noses at the GOP.

I doubt those Texans are conservatives.

When
The Supreme Court has had like 25 chances at getting rid of these obviously unconstitutional assault weapon bans and magazine restrictions.

There's a lot to unpack on this one but having lived in Colorado since '97 this has been coming for a long time.
First of all on this particular legislation: The original ban was on the sale of any magazine-fed semiauto firearm, but not the possession of existing ones. There's already recent law limiting magazine capacity in CO that has been widely ignored and this is the dems method of ensuring that that mag limit is enforced. The bill was amended to change it from an outright ban on their sale, to a requirement to take a class, pass a test, and then grovel for permission before buying one with the State controlling every aspect of that process. While it was still an outright ban there was concern that Gov. Polesmoker would veto it because while he like it, he also has designs on running for POTUS after his current term expires and he's term limited. With the training amendment in place, Polesmoker most likely will sign it. The commi-Dems here have already stated brazenly that they'll remove the training requirement later and convert it back to their originally intended full ban.
Is it constitutional? Of course not. Is it likely to get struck down? Probably.
But bear in mind that Colorado already has a history of ignoring SCOTUS rulings they don't like and I would expect the same here.
As for Colorado's move toward a communist state, demographics is certainly part of it and I witnessed first hand the "quality" of people flooding the state when Colorado became the first state (with WA) to legalize recreational weed. But a bigger factor is that Colorado was used as the blueprint for communist takeover of a state several years ago. Michelle Malkin wrote a great article outlining how that happened and is planned for other states; I'll see if i can find it later.
