That's why so many law abiding citizens move across the river to Bossier Parish. Bossier City, Haughton and Benton are all growing while Shreveport is shrinking.

Memphis, Jackson, areas of Baton Rouge, Mobile, Birmingham and Montgomery are the same.
There is a demographic that has no impulse control, no respect for the sanctity and fragility of life…
This demographic now has access to fully automatic weapons and the cultural acceptance, if not expectation, to use said weapons on other humans.
We are 10-15 years from some Southern cities being essentially lawless and near uninhabitable by anyone not within this demographic.

Same for Shreveport baton rouge and New Orleans. What will it take to correct this cultural nightmare? Welfare programs, DEI, imprisonment, nothing has worked.
In Switzerland as I understand it , there is virtually little to no crime a person can lose their citizenship in any particular canton, which good luck getting another canton to accept you. Start holding parents responsible; if on government assistance of any king take it away ,!with jail time!

Yes, 1990 was the year I saw what was coming so I sold my Shreveport home while it still had good value and moved to Bossier. A lot of people who had steady jobs in Shreveport just kept those jobs while moving their home to Bossier for safety. It's a short commute.
