It actually doesn’t mean that necessarily.
It could mean that making such an argument here is a fools errand in his opinion.

For this cycle in particular, for me anyway, it is the absolute mashing of “climate change” or “ESG” into literally ANY political discussion/topic whatsoever
It just sounds like reflective brainwashing at this point it’s totally lost any meaning
Abortion? Climate change!
Inflation? ESG and evil oil companies ruining the climate!
Racism? Yep - Climate change again !
