What Pelosi just did puts us on a fast track to 1930s Germany.

The disintegration of our culture, history, and body politic is not new in civilization’s records. I have noted specific similarities of historical precedent in the godless French Revolution and the inhumane fanaticism of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (which we call the Nazis) that provide obvious education on the intent and the terminal fate of such movements. However, history’s instructions are ignored and the steady march toward devolution continues.

Pelosi will assign the Capitol Police to various “hot spots” throughout our nation for the purpose of confronting those deemed “radical extremists.” Informed readers know this is a term identifying those who believe the Constitution and not the extremists residing in Washington, DC is the Rule of Law.
That's right. At the direction of Pelosi, the US Capitol Police will be sent throughout the USA to take out political opposition.
Why is this needed? We have FBI offices all over the USA. So why?
Because these offices are controlled by none other than Nancy Pelosi because she runs the House:
quote:
Pelosi is placing satellite field offices for the DC Capitol Police in key regions around the country. When we consider the FBI has field offices all over the country, you might ask: why does the Capitol Hill police need to expand beyond Washington DC? Essentially, what Nancy Pelosi is doing is expanding the federal law enforcement mechanism of the legislative branch into specific areas where they can investigate political opposition armed with legal authority.
A federalized police force controled of one party.
quote:
“At this time, Florida and California are where the majority of our potential threats are,” a department spokesperson said in a statement. “The field offices will be the first for the Department. A regional approach to investigating and prosecuting threats against Members is important, so we will be working closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in those locations.”

I read something recently that the Capitol Police are not subject to FOIA.

Time to see what our Governors are made of.
We are screwed.

That is legitimately treason.
If there was a ever a uniting rally cry for states rights and a convention of states, it’s this. This is the line in the sand. Federal police superseding state and local police with the expressed purpose of rooting out political rivals is not something Americans should compromise on or allow. Any governor who allows this should be recalled immediately.
Pelosi is not the President and she has been wildly out of control. Time to rein in the government or be crushed by it.

Or the fast track to 1776 with redcoats in the colonies.

Of course it does.
We no longer have a republic. We live under an authoritarian totalitarian system. Nothing they do surprises me anymore.

That appears to be correct if something doesn't change soon

What is the legal justification for this?
Call me fricking stupid, but I would think the capitol cops don’t have jurisdiction outside the capitol.
Is their argument that “threats to the capitol” in the outlying districts requires them to send peacekeepers to detain people for the Hunger Games?

Reichstag fire baw. Now they need some “temporary” emergency powers to get the situation under control.

Civil war is being pushed upon us....

They are going to open these two offices and realize the “problem” is bigger than they ever could have imagined. More agents and field offices will be needed in every major metro area. After that, residency offices will be placed in tier 2 and smaller cities - much like the other federal LE agencies. People will have cases opened on them and go to jail (without bond) for light hearted banter on the internet. Whoever doesn’t think we are at war - apparently a lot of citizens - is crazy.

I tend to avoid all Nazi comparisons because people infer you're alleging the events are of the same magnitude, but it's hard to deny the strategy/playbook similarities.
