INSURRECTION!!!

You can't just shrug it off...

They want to ban him from running in a rematch in 2024. Afraid he'll win over Kamala and whoever she picks.

It would be like Alabama getting a team that beat them banned in a rematch in the NC game.

That capital siege benefited the democrats in two ways. I just named the first. The second it got the republican challengers mad and embarrassed, so them and Pence caved in and voted Biden in.

The real answer?

A lot of people in Congress think Trump put them in physical jeopardy.

Powerful people don't take kindly to that. And they are not just going to let it go.

Primarily for existing and not allowing these demonic freaks from attaining full control with no opposition.

I think this is it.

Nancy is striking while the iron is hot with an impeachment. Trump won't be removed because there is no time for a trial in the senate. However I suppose the senate can take up the trial at a later date and they probably will with Schummer in charge. Does a conviction keep Trump from running in 2024?

He never said “of power.”

He said there will be an orderly transition. Think about it. He never mentioned Biden’s name or the Biden Administration. What that means, if anything, is a guessing game and based on what outcome you want.

I think it’s partly revenge for Trump thwarting their plans for 4 years. They’ve been seething. And partly to send a message to everyone else not to frick with the deep state.

I think there is one more possibility,

She is trying to demonize him as dangerous so that she can stage an “event” at which time she blames his people and acts like she was the hero trying to shut it down, but dang, she couldn’t get support from evil pence and McConnell

But does another impeachment preclude Trump from running in 2024?

They don't want him pardoning Snowden and assange.

They may help him uncover all these fricks.

IDK if Snowden is a good guy. For some reason I just don't trust him.

Assange? Sure, pardon him.

If they're not scared of his last days in office and that there might be serious repercussions to their personal livelihoods in the next ten days, then they're drunk with power that they haven't actually acquired yet.

If that's the case they're vindictive, petty and don't give a goddamn about the good of country. And on top of all that, they are willing to abuse their authority to squash everything and every political opponent that dares threaten them.

This is why a ton of people are holding on to hope and praying that these stories that pop up about the Vatican and special ops having her laptop get lapped up with such enthusiasm; the alternative is a very scary proposition indeed.

They are doing it because they aren't scared anymore. All the Trumpers have already said they are never voting again. What would they be afraid of? You guys played your hand to soon.

Which only brings Trump more support. The Streisand effect.

I have to think there is a legal strategy behind Pelosi's move.

The DC mayor put them in physical jeopardy by not preparing for the rally that was planned months in advance. They put themselves in jeopardy by supporting nationwide lockdown for everyone but themselves and fanning the flames of violence constantly. They bred, fed, and loosed these chickens and are now screaming as they come home to roost.

But I’m glad even you recognize that congress is disgustingly corrupt, ignorant, and dangerous.
