If a liberal didn't bring insane talking points that can easily be objectively obliterated in sincere debate, it would be one thing. But the left has lost the plot so bad they're just insane, clinically.
If you want to sound sane, and fancy yourself a liberal, you are ousted and shite on for being lukewarm. That's the issue.
So, WHEN a progressive speaks here, they get clowned on.
We have enough to sort out on our OWN side of the political spectrum, and boy is it a lot.
For example: Half this board is pro-zionism, half this board is not. Half of these people will NOT humor dissent from the MSM narrative about Tyler Robinson. Half of us buy into the many questions that have arisen from the event. Half of us understand Russia can be both a bad actor, but also reasonably upset that NATO has encroached on their territory for many decades, and they have been patient and reasonable until they, now, aren't.
The lists go on and on, and we don't really have time for absurd identity politics or discussing the supposed merits of commun... I mean, socialism.

Any political discussion website/forum that doesnt heavily moderate will tend to skew right as the liberals flee because their ideas and beliefs can't stand up to scrutiny. The few remaining liberals then cry that the site is a republican safe space because they're outnumbered and get dunked on every day.

Or maybe, just maaaaaaybe, it's an open forum for people of all political walks and ideologies to express their opinions with limited oversight and be either agreed with or disagreed with through sometimes-productive discourse, and sometimes just a bunch of bickering and shitposting. It's pretty much like a Thanksgiving gathering where the majority of the family is conservative and just wants to enjoy a good time, but the Obama-fellating part of the family shows up to spew MSNBC talking points and ruin the gathering because any semblance of religion that they used to believe has been replaced by Secular Progressive Cultism and they've been fully programmed by the Narrative Control Apparatus to rock the boat at all times and never worry about the secondary and tertiary results of doing so.

Well, here's the thing. With the direction of the modern Left in its current incarnation, we would unfortunately be discussing whether the VFW should be supporting the VA using taxpayer dollars to fund the surgical sexual transition of soldiers from male to female and vice versa, and whether or not they should support the government enforcing international and federal laws and securing our international borders.
It's never as simple or cut-and-dry as some would like it to seem.
And I'll tell you one thing, as I've been here since 2016 and have tens of thousands of posts.... for a "conservative echo-chamber", this place has some of the most severe TDS patients I've ever seen.

Other than Facebook, it's literally the only place I know of where you can attempt to have political discussions regardless of your political leaning.
I signed up for dailykos.com to see if discussion of objective facts could be tolerated (I pointed out that prior to sentencing, Trump was NOT a "convicted felon"). I was banned in less than a minute.
The personal attacks get tedious, but it's a good place to get information.

The Poli Board is an unrestricted platform where people are free to discuss political beliefs, philosophies, evidence, and facts.
In short it’s a non-safe space area where the logical, true, and fact supported arguments thrive, abd the emotional, false, and non-reality based BS goes extinct.
That fact that it’s right leaning shows where the results of logical and factual argument superiority leads.
Most leftist show up, make well meaning but unrealistic claims. After the argument leaves the emotional surface level that the left lives in, they get their illogical arses handed to them.
Most leave in a name calling childish temper tantrum. A few learn and leave the left.
Both lead to a right dominated board.
