It's almost like as the population density grows the need for infrastructure funded by the public becomes more evident.....

Are you insinuating these businesses aren't recruited to your states and locales by GOP leaders? Seriously?

I live in a MTG's district....red as blood. The lengths our politicians go to to recruit businesses to this area is ridiculous. They're often unsuccessful, but it's certainly not for lack of trying.

I still have no clue what you're talking about.

You're literally the drunk uncle who gets on Facebook, sees some bullshite from some rando intended to piss you off, and then use it to define tens of millions of people. You're very easily manipulated. You probably used to be a much happier person 15 years ago. Damn shame they got to you.

You don’t know what the word literally is. None of that is correct but you make your generalizations while complaining about the same.

You are a leftist so you can’t recognize your own hypocrisy. I understand that.

You said abortions aren’t celebrated.

That’s a lie. Just stop lying. Is that too much to ask.

Proof was provided that they are.

Google abortion cakes and parties for further proof.

Freaks.

Interesting. I just remember seeing all of the Trump signs when I was there. But this was also pre-George Floyd.

Colorado Springs at 40 is kind of a joke. It should be in the top 10 or at least top 15-20.

Oklahoma is one of the reddest states if not the reddest. I’ve heard Tulsa has a little bit of a lib vibe going on. What’s OKC like ?

Red....extremely red and religious. Tulsa has more of an artsy vibe to it. Tulsa is starting to want to be blue but it's not really either.

I wouldn't call OKC conservative. The burbs around, yeah but the city proper is a mess.

unless i'm mistaken, OK has 0 Blue US Reps. It's not a very gerrymandered state at all.

Their State House is 82-18 republican/democrat and state senate is 39/9.

I'm sure the Democrat State reps and senators come from OKC but they don't outvote the republicans

ETA: we just went through there last week and stopped at bricktown and midtown to eat and walk around. not perfect, but cleanest downtown of a major city i've seen.

lincoln's was pretty clean as well.

Salt Lake City?

I spent a week in SLC. It's very small. The phone book in my hotel room was the same size as Shreveport. I asked a lot of people about it. They want visitors. They don't want new residents.
That's why they never developed the Lake as a place to build condos.

I’m guessing the fact that it stinks and is drying up may play a factor as well.

It’s quite ugly and barren along the shore to boot.

I think San Diego is primarily conservative.

a big company i worked with (but not for) in the past built a giant new campus in SD. kinda did the whole google thing with beer, slides, open ceiling concept.

i was there for a partner conference. IDGAF about all the ribbon cutting and what not so i was in the building drinking with some engineers. we were upstairs and a tad loose and i rode the slide down with beer in hand trying not to spill and when i landed, the Mayor of SD was doing an interview right in front of the slide. i came down with a shite eating grin having no clue they were there. The news decided to leave that in there.

talked to the mayor after we had a laugh. republican and a good baw.

That's what the guys said. It was on purpose. They had the technology to clean things up and make it more attractive but they didn't want to bring in a bunch on non-Mormons to take over the population.
The ski slopes are very nice and attracts tourists but no one wants to build a suburb in the mountains.

Lots of nice places that were established by conservatives are being invaded by progressives. Bozeman, Jackson Hole, Cour De Lane, etc... outside of bringing better coffee and beer, locals are pissed at the liberal invasion.

nashville suburbs which are growing at a faster rate than the actual city are redder than the devils dick and its going to be that way for a long long time. Those baws out in Mt Juliet, Lebanon and Williamson County aren't voting blue anytime soon. Dont even think about Rutherford county turning. Its just not happening.
