What I will say is for the people that are confident in Paxton. Download a prediction App like Kalshi and you are getting pretty good odds taking him to win.

I don’t think either will get 50% of the vote. In 2018 Ted Cruz only got 50.33% and in 2020 with Trump on the ballot John Cornyn got 53.5%. Cruz and Cornyn would both probably struggle to get 51% of the vote without Trump on the ticket.
Talarico will get almost all of the Beto voting block that voted in a midterm and Paxton will probably lose some of the Cornyn and Cruz voters.
