To think George Soros actually champions Jewish rights is fricking laughable dude.

Laughable

Let me guess, you also think the Clinton Foundation actually gave two fricks about the people in Haiti just because their mission statement and Jake Tapper said so.

Laughable

So what you are saying is that the left isn't anti Semite, they've just been propagandized?

Look at Europe.

They want to own the Muslim vote. They see it as a emerging political force.

Over the last 8 years, the strange thing for me is to see Jewish acquaintances turning on Israel just because they are so invested in far left American politics.

It's like Odumbf*ck turned them into complete f*cking morons.

So, to clarify, if you don’t blindly accept anything and everything the Israeli government does, that makes one anti semitic?

it seems to be more than that

the Israeli government can be utter pieces of shite, but the framing of most argument is pro-Palestinian more than anti-Israel

i've said this a couple times but this comes down to the respect for power. leftist ideology, at least publicly, hates power and doesn't want it used as a justification for all sorts of things (including creating states). Palestinians are seen as lacking power and are therefore marginalized and perfect members of the modern-leftist coalition. it almost doesn't matter what they do or how evil they can be, because their lack of power justifies it all

hell you even seen this narrative slipped into the reporting on conflicts. the people who promote the leftist/marginalized narratives absolutely hate that Israel has better weapons so they frame reporting to hide the bad acts of the Palestinians and over-represent the Israeli power. it got to the point of absolute lies with this last one, with people reporting "peaceful" protests that were anything but

the sad part is Hamas knows how to play Western media like a fiddle and they carry water for a terrorist organization. have some self awareness

Is it though?

I think most just want to take a balanced look at the situation and be fair to both sides.

A Grotesque Spectacle in Jerusalem

The juxtaposition of images of dead and wounded Palestinians and Ivanka Trump smiling in Jerusalem like a Zionist Marie Antoinette tell us a lot about America’s relationship to Israel right now.

But if Israelis love Trump, many Americans — and certainly most American Jews — do not.

#1 No, I just don’t read everything that comes out nor do I care about the media nearly as much as most of you.

#2 the media =\= the left.

#3 your examples read as more anti-Trump to me than anti-Israel

There are millions upon millions upon millions of liberals in this country. Are they all members of the media?

And further do you really think someone’s politics play into every single decision they make at their job?

Cool, I was listening to my Newcastle/PSG podcasts

It's not anti semitism - most of them probably don't know what 'semitism' is.

They are anti-Israel. That is because Israel is a friend of the conservative element in USA politics. If the Sudan were friendly to conservatives, they'd be anti-sudanese.

With the left, it is all about ideology. Nothing else matters except garnering political power for the sake of having political power. They have no principles - but they will mouth support for any 'principle' that brings them momentary political advantage.

The biggest tell is how they treat blacks. They don't give a shite about 'blacks' - in fact they are virulent toward any black person who 'betrays' them and voices support for a conservative viewpoint. All they care about are the 'plantation blacks' who step and fetch it at their command.

Everybody knows this.

So you can't refute what I posted so you try to change the point of contention. I'll give you a point for trying out of pity.

Compared to the historical norm we all won the fricking lottery growing up in 20th century Dixie. Downright idyllic.

This point is lost on most Americans, particularly those under 40 - why? It's relatively unearned and we're far enough from the Depression and WWII generations for this unearned opulence to just be criminally unappreciated.

And worse, they assume that it either:

1. Just happened by chance (and I'm not attacking your lottery analogy, because it's fair in and of itself), or, worse,

2. We took it from someone else.

Neither of those things are true - the United States IS the result of extremely hard work by folks who were committed to rule of law and free market capitalism. America is a blessing to the world as we've made the world a better place. And I'm disinterested in arguing with folks who cannot concede that. They're ignorant or worse.

Perfect? No. Awesome and make the world a better place? You bet your arse.

no truer words were ever spoken - and the fact that this is not a central message of our educational system from pre-K on up is a sad situation. The fact that the exact opposite message is being indoctrinated into our children is criminal.

Nope. This has been going on since the State of Israel was founded.
It was the beginning of the Cold War, and the US supported the establishment of Israel, and the USSR went with the Palestinians. College professors and media were just following orders from the Kremlin and began their indcoctrination of the public.
This is where the Neo-Cons come from. They were originally liberals, but left the movement as it became more and more pro-Soviet.

Conservatives always talk about how elitist and smug liberals are, and that this drives people to the right. Yet in the next breath they say shite like this and think they have a monopoly on patriotism.

There is literally nothing more elitist or smug than “_____ hates America”
