What’s is really a shame is that Jews and Arabs lived side by side in the area for centuries without the sort of violence that is a daily occurrence since 1946. Israel is, right or wrong, a bad idea. Nations based on into,erance are a bad idea....and religious intolerance is stupendously asinine given that ALL religions at their heart are remnants of a period of sheer and unfettered ignorance in our collective history....there has never been a god and therefore the core of ALL religion is a falsehood....

Yes, Israel presents a facade of legitimacy to the world which allows us to pretend that EVERY vestige of decency you list isnt based on a LAND grab. The difference is Israel came about too late for western society to stomache the elimination of the indigenous people.....and some of those people had cousins in other parts of the ME who happened to be sitting astride a pool of black gold that the rest of the world are junkies for. Those cousins were OK with their families having their shite taken and treated like animals as long as the oil was desired and they could line their pockets....but elim8nating their family like we did the indigenous people of the new world and enslaving them like we did in Africa was not tolerable. The result is radical Islam. Enjoy it....we bought and paid for it....
