When did this change? Two years ago when the Church of Covid's practitioners (Branch Covidians) were at maximum fervor, one's vaccination status was absolutely EVERYBODY'S business. In fact, many companies were firing employees unless they showed proof they had been vaccinated.

Whatever, thanks for putting words in my mouth. I want to know if the vax is causing these issues. We've seen 5 people this week, 4 were athletes that have dropped and died or collapsed, all associated with cardiac or cardio vascular issues. So it would be nice to figure this out and part of that is figuring out what happened with Hamlin.
All they say is cardiac arrest. No one is definitively saying it is due to the impact. So pardon me for saying the hit wasn't severe.
It would take a compression of the chest like somebody doing CPR. I don't see that hit compressing his chest like that with the breast plate distributing that load across the whole chest area.

To the contrary, the fact it took 9 days is indicative of a prolonged secondary issue (or issues). Those could be d/t anything from preexisting cardiac pathology to resuscitative trauma/complication.
Regardless, 9 days is a long time.
By comparison, patients often leave the hospital 7 days after coronary bypass surgery.
