The point is Trump shifts like the wind on virtually every position and people just follow him anyway. There is nothing he could say that he still wouldn't have most of his followers jumping in line. Hell, he came out and called Hillary "beautiful" not long ago and most of you lapped it up like a porn star taking a facial.
DeSantis is the same guy today as he was when he entered Congress a decade ago. He's barely shifted on any positions and when he has he has thoroughly explained why (for instance his shifts on Covid). He's even admitted mistakes.
Still these guys are all politicians and basically employees. If you idolize them you deserve the arse ramming that will inevitably happen to you when they sell you out. If DeSantis starts turning into a liberal I'll drop him in a heartbeat, I just seriously doubt that will happen.

Thanks for defining what you think of the vast majority of Republican voters. Being establishment means you know more about what the voters should do than the actual voters, who are deplorable and cannot be trusted. No wonder Republicans can never win again without an outsider at the helm, like it or not.

None of the above. You completely forgot DS served in the US Navy attached to Seal Team One, both in Afghanistan and in Iraq, especially in the Fallujah 2nd battle. Listless vessel is a maritime gerg to say a ship is standing still because of no wind. It can be found in many sailors books and for istance you may found it The Traveler's Tree which, by a mere coincidence, it's in the US Navy Academy library. Of course because no one, nor in the media nor in the primaries, nor GOP nor DEM, ever served in the military nobody could get a term know only by the ones who respectfully served. The problem isn't DS used a military, navy, term, the problem is in this modern day the servicewomen and servicemen are completely disrespected. P.s. I just saw a twitter poll of nicknames/sayings of MAGA Trump supporters and saw that DeSantis called MAGA America First- listless vessels. I searched the term trying to see what I missed and this thread popped up.
I saw cwill in the MAL value thread -acting like a usual dumbass- use this term as a derogatory name-call exchange of words.
When Bucky cheese dick and cwill are on the same page with the Cuckeye tigercuckingonamountain Kasich, Jebra! nevertrumpers, we have come full circle.
The Bug and gang post 4 paragraphs defending meatball under the guise of MAGA supporters carrying every word from Trump's mouth like stupid rednecked hicks.
Epiphany: Lincoln project arrogant dorks that were shoved in lockers in high school- that think they are smarter than everyone. Steve Schmidt, the architect of the late Sen. John McCain’s 2008 presidential run, is cwill.
