Exactly.
Something is afoot... Trump just said in that PC with the Japanese lady how much he likes surprises... Vance just said we have some tools Iran hasn't seen yet. And he cleverly hid the rest of his post in plain sight- no one is reading past Civilization is gonna die.

Trump has no good options. Trump gets to commit war crimes targeting civilian infrastructure (though I’m told there is no such thing as a war crime by Trump Dick Suckers - TDS).
Or, he can extend the deadline again (and you’ll laud his negotiating skills), and look even more weak on an international stage (TACO Tuesday).
Eventually, we will take out bridges, power and oil production/storage facilities. Iran will do the same to neighboring states. The regime will still be in tact and Iranians will hate the US even more.
The US will sustain massive casualties in a ground campaign (to which you will say they knew what they signed up for).
We will either then “negotiate” some way to leave and have a peace accord of some type. Iran will declare victory. Congress will flip and Gavin Newsome will be president. Basically Iraq Part 2 on steroids.

I don't know what'll happen tonight so I won't predict, but this is some impressive spin.
"HA! You LIBTARDS said Trump would back down and he did! I bet you feel OWNED!"

It's already starting to. There are clearly split factions within Iranian government right now. On the one hand you have some of them saying they have ceased all negotiations and on the other you have word that Iran has just sent a counter peace proposal to the US.
Their President has been telling the IRGC that if they don't stand down that their economy will be totally destroyed and they won't recover from it. You have IRGC "leadership" saying frick that. I'm gonna guess that the President will get through to enough generals that they turn on IRGC "leadership."

Gas prices have some financial impact
Let them stay high all summer and see what happens. Energy prices are a crucial piece of our economy. It is one of the things that acts as high water that can hide a lot of stumps. Let them stay high all summer and there will start to be crashes into those stumps. And it could escalate into something bigger.
Folks should really go back and study 2008. A lot of things came together to cause that. All-time high gas prices were a huge match in what ended up being a huge fire.

Yup.

I don't think we will know until it's done.

I'm of the mind that there is nothing Trump can do to change opinions. You either love him or hate him -- both at home and internationally. Therefore, he needs to do whatever he thinks he needs to do. That's why we hired him -- and even if you didn't, he's the boss.
As long as we don't purposefully target civilians or put boots on the ground, then I'm fine with it.
We see reports from Iranians disputing the narrative you've given re: them hating us more for bombing. Who's right? I tend to think that people want freedom (especially after they've been terrorized for so long), so I'll choose to believe that.

Thanks for going on record with this stunningly retarded post.

Pretty much
At best, a bluff that makes Trump look weak
At worst, Trump blows up civilian infrastructure and the war escalates

I think if Iran doesn't cave in they will get hammered tonite...not saying we take out everything we threatened to but enough to make them want to come to terms

Care to refute it, dick sucker?

If Iran doesn’t cave and we blow up their infrastructure and they still don’t cave…then what?

Why would I refute ridiculous speculations about a ground war? It's been made very clear that that isn't going to happen. You are literally wish casting for the worst possible scenario because you think it'll "get Trump." If you want my opinion instead, I think Trump makes you look retarded yet again.
Dick sucker.

then they will be pretty much decimated...the war will last a little longer and we will probably have to put boots on the ground

Precisely. I posed the same question the other night and was called a pussy and communist.
The president of Iran has no control over the military. The military will not quit and you cannot eliminate them without large scale ground invasion.
There is no good option on the table.
