What are our Congressmen and women doing right now?

So, if I’m following this right, today (and yesterday) they all got together for one meeting. Tried to select a speaker. Failed and called it a day.
Oh, maybe some of them had a press conference/interview afterwards. Maybe one or two went on Hannity for a sound bite. Exhausting day for sure.
So by now they’re all hanging out, having a meal and a drink on our dime. Maybe if they’re lucky, their favorite lobbyist took them out for a late night on the town. Because, hey: they don’t have to report to work until noon on Wednesday.
Bums. All of them.

They should be required to lock themselves in the Capitol until a Speaker is elected. Dems too. Maybe after 48 hours, there will be some crossing the aisle. I really don’t care which leech they select, but working for two hours a day for weeks on end has got to stop.

Yup, Gaetz said so much: they get together for 4, maybe 5 votes a week, and they call that “the people’s work” like they’re working so hard for us…
