You really don't understand the Gen-X mentality. We grew up independent so we learned to solve problems ourselves. We keep our heads down and do the necessary work. We don't seek attention or glory.
We understand the world is fricked up and have a morbid appreciation of it as an expression of mental toughness. We are proud to take all the slings and arrows the world has to offer and keep moving forward without bitching.
We didn't create the problems and don't feel compelled to change the world. We prefer to build quietly instead of pretending we can save everyone. That mentality is held by millennials, and you can see it usually ends in wokeness and feelings without anything substantial.
We grew up learning that change comes from work. You grew up learning that it comes from complaining the loudest.
I'm sorry you grew up in the pussy generations, because the strength and stability of Gen-X is something you'll never understand. Hard times don't break us like it does the younger generations.
