Well the most selfish generation in history had to keep their power so they elected two geriatric's. Mandatory retirement around 65 for all politicians sounds pretty good right about now. Plus Gen X doesn’t care.

My Mother didn't work outside the home. Unlike your Mother who has a corner named after her

You have it backwards, back then a two income (latch key home) household was a an almost guaranteed combined income > lower middle class

You're frickin wrong. Plain and simple. I told you it was a dumbass comment and it was.

Low class behavior would be acting like a fricking a-hole on the internet first thing in the morning as you're doing.

By your standard you are acting low class. This is why nobody takes you seriously. Be better.

Also you can clown millenials for a plenty of reasons that I completely agree with, but wearing 'latchkey kid' as a badge of honor and courage is not always warranted.

It is great that you learned survival and independence, but you have to recognize that this way of coming up has also fostered patterns of isolation and self absorption. Kids need parents. They were never meant to be thrown to the wolves (thatvis why that statement exists). Nor were they meant to be raised in daycares as the millenials were.

OP is succumbing to the programmed narrative that is exacerbating the generational divides between the descendants of European settlers in the U.S.
