Dim "experts" now expect JoeBie to fail on this question. It is straight forward and the point...were you better off four years ago? Of course when your party has never had anything positives to say about America and you have weaponized the state against normal people the answer is...Heck NO!

Answer is a little complicated I make 50k more a year than I did 4 years ago, so yes I am doing marginally better than I was at that point. However, I should be doing much, much better than I was 4 years ago.

I think the answer will be more than just economical. There is a malaise that has taken over society and money can only succor that wound to a degree.

I make more money, but things cost a LOT more...

I am better off but like the other poster said my income has gone up a ton and I am marginally better. However due to market now I do feel like I am crushing my customers way worse due to a factor of things

I make more income, but that is only one factor.
It is not outpacing expenses.

My income has increased by I'm not able to purchase as much with it. So yes - I was better off 4 years ago. I also didn't feel as though many aspects of my life and my opinions were under attack or threatened by government.

Either "side" can find people to answer in a way that confirms their message. There are plenty doing worse, plenty doing better. It's a loaded question. Personally, I'm better off, but I don't credit that to Trump, Biden or anything government

Yes
I make a lot more money, I pay less for housing now than previously and rent instead of own.
It does cost more to live in general though, but there are ways to save some money as long as you're savvy and willing to do a little more work

No.
Remembering January 6.
• Gas was $1.93 per gallon.
• There was zero inflation.
• Supply-chain was functioning well.
• Economy was strongest in 50 yrs.
• Border was controlled and secure.
• Taliban wasn't armed with U.S. artillery.
• Plenty of workers to fulfil labor needs.
• Stock market was at record-highs.
• 401K's had record-high values.
• Interest rates were at record-lows.

The majority of the people who are better of today vs during Trump's first term are people who are likely benefiting from government money or people who anticipated the appropriate stocks to invest in knowing the insane green policies the illegitimate regime was going to pursue.

Gal at Lowes today agreed that the crap we were buying, made in China, was way too expensive. And she was the 35 y/o mother working the cashier. They got their prices up blaming COVID but sure didn’t lower them when COVID was eradicated. Well oil companies did lower prices but not retail goods.

If you wouldn't gladly go back to 2019, you are probably a recent lottery winner.
